«Second rehearsal», «Script», «Red wig» - these are the names only aming some of 18 works of Ihor Yashchenko in his new series of paintings «Procenium». Maybe only places behind the wings are more interesting due to their intimacy, but procenium is like a border between actors and spectators, its front or original fireline.
In the space of artist's «Procenium», in contrast to actors, now paintings play their own roles. Sensible images braid the canvas of their own plot, which can be seen by everyone who adores art in its sentimentality. |
