«Moon-Park»
![]() Our life – a complete imitation. Imitation of existence, imitation of happiness, imitation of feelings. In each of us sometimes there comes that moment when we are forced to pretend, to imitate, to falsify, whether we want to or not. Some can at any time stop, others chose pretence all their lives. It is on that theme that the new project of Andrei Bludov “Moon-Park” is founded. Moon Park – like the expanse of solitude of a person, which plunges into the world of attractions, the imitation of celebrations. Here, among the obtrusive stalls, a person hopes at some time to suppress ones pain among the happy, shinning faces, which are smiling, like light beams of multiple-colors, flashing neon lights. They bring their problems here – in order to exchange them for happiness, but leave, more devastated and disappointed. Their misfortune becomes worse. They not only do not find happiness, but one more time, they reconfirm their isolation. Therefore it is not possible to find happiness, without harmony with one’s self, without understanding the idea of existence, and without power and internal strength. Long-term happiness requires concentration and work on oneself, it is not easily achieved. The solitude theme of “Moon Park” adds and reflects the theme of cloning. The lack of personal individuality – it is greater than just an actual theme today. Each day in the world “perish” thousands of people’s personalities under the influence of different reasons, from different “diagnoses”. Scrubbed, annihilated, the property “I”; it is also a kind of substitution of the true, of the the real, for the false, for the man-made. Also, the ruined doubles watch us through the canvas of Bludov, their sad “individual faces”, compelling us to think our thoughts of existence, correctly arranging priorities. The influences of Bludov’s project, at first sight are understandable and naively simple, but certainly touching the very deep and important question of man’s existence and direction, awakening man’s consciousness and his saving.
